A Legacy of Trust: The Journey of Sindhu Pharmacy & Mauli Ayurveda
The roots of our institution are deeply entrenched in the distinguished legacy of Vaidyan P. R. Ramachandra Varrier. A paragon of classical Ayurveda, he served with unwavering dedication as the Chief Physician at Dhanwantari Vaidyashala from 1968 to 1984. During this era, his clinical excellence and commitment to authentic patient care earned him the profound trust of generations.
Guided by a powerful vision to make genuine and effective Ayurvedic medicines accessible to society, he founded Sindhu Pharmacy in 1986 at Varapuzha, Ernakulam. He established the organization on the strong pillars of traditional wisdom and uncompromising quality standards, ensuring that every formulation remained true to the ancient texts. Although he passed away in 2006, his ethical values and dedication to the science of life continue to be the guiding light of our institution today.
